Riverside Chrysler Jeep Rally, Ride and Food Drive Hey Jeepers and Jeep lovers! Join us on Saturday, November 15th for a Jeep Rally, Ride and Food Drive. It will be held at Riverside Chrysler, 217 Hwy 231 North in Troy from 11am to 2pm. Jeep owners are invited to exhibit your vehicle and everyone is invited to see all the Jeeps displayed!Awards will be presented, and there are three categories for judging: Best Overall Most Unique Dirtiest (so don’t worry about your Jeep being show perfect!) Judging will be done by the public, and will be determined by donations for the food bank (both non-perishable food items and cash will be accepted) – in each category, the Jeep with the most donations wins! Hot dogs, hamburgers and soda will be served, and there will be a Jeep trail ride at 2pm following the Rally. Please join us for a day of fun to benefit a great cause! First, those of you who did not go this weekend; you missed some dang good, muddy, relaxing FUN!!!!! The Geneva State Forest in Samson is BEAUTIFUL!!! We had a BLAST... sorry for you who missed out!!
For the May 3rd "GO TOPLESS" day, I am CANCELLING plans for an actual ride due to family conflicts; Lindsay's softball team is area champs & is playing in Montgomery for the state title & Ashley, our UAB student, has to be moved out of the dorm at 7:30 Friday night; so riding topless is gonna be a no go for me.... but get your close buds together and do your own mini TOPLESS (but leave your shirt on) ride, take photos, forward them to me and I will post them on the SEA-JEEPS myspace page.
Next, due to HIGH gas prices & NO X-tra cash David & I have decided to CANCEL our plans for Daytona (May 16,17,18), BUT we may decide to go back to The Geneva State Forest in Samson, stay at the free primitive camping site next to the Geneva County Lake and would love to have everyone go do that instead. Sure we would have some $$ in gas, but not going so far away, some food cost, but no lodging cost, and then those of you totally needing a place with H2O/ELEC hook-ups you guys can go stay with my new good buddy Lamar Rowland at Just Loafin' RV Park for a small nightly fee! His place is really neat & interesting, but the site in the forest is stunningly beautiful and that is where I will pitch my tent!!!! So let me know what you think!!!! Couples, singles, families, all fun-lovin' people are welcomed!!!!!
May 24, 2008 is the JEEP JAM at HOOTER's everything is coming together nicely and looking to be another great day. Make your plans to be there.... Jeeps start arriving at 10-12 registration, door prizes given away every 15 minutes- all day, 3pm announce prize winners: Best CJ, Best Wrangler, Most Unique, & new category DIRTIEST!!! 4pm we hit the circle for our 14 mile cruise around the Ross Clark Circle!!
Pass this info on to anyone you know with a jeep.... would love to have them join us!!!!
If ever there is a ride or event and your jeep is "sick", "dead", or gone for some reason like you sold it or something.... call me 'cause 9 times out of 10 someone (normally me) is riding alone or the backseat is free and you are more than welcome to come ride along.... MORE the MERRIER!!!!

My Jeep Ride S***F(stuff) straightened out!

Okay here we go!!!!
1. Hartford Cruise-In on Saturday April 12!!!! The State Line Muscle Car Club is sponsoring the cruise-in, and I have gone to it before and it was very nice!!!!! This is for Restored Jeeps, Jeeps in the process of restoration, Pretty Jeeps, Ugly Jeeps, New & Old, any & every Jeep is INVITED!!!! The only cost factor is $5 to be included in the door prizes..... So shine it up, load up the cooler and chairs, and lets go spend a nice spring afternoon in Hartford!!!!! We will meet at the Farm Center at 11:00 am.... grab a bite to eat, cruise to Hartford, and set-up together for the car show, and hang-out!!!! Sounds like FUN to me!!!!!! Let me know you are going, just so I know who to plan on! If you need to come later tell me and we will save a spot next to us. Also, any of our Jeep Stuff vendors interested in setting up a booth call me and I will give you Rich’s phone , and anyone who sells Ladies’ items i.e. purses, make-up, jewelry, anything and you too want to set-up a booth give me a ring!!!!!
2. Camping in Samson on Saturday April 26!!!! We are staying at "Just Loafin" RV Park near the state park we will be riding in. The sites are $20 for 2 campers tent &/or RV.... we will ride the roads and trails, all day and spend the evening at the campsite, gill out and visit and maybe take a moonlight ride.... it is gonna be fun.... I need an idea of who’s planning on going to reserve enough spaces for us to camp on!!!! Also, pack your coolers with stuff to grill, snack on, drinks, etc.... some of you may need to help David & me know what all to pack seeing how we ain’t been campin’ since our HONEYMOON... that’s the God’s honest truth... we’ll save that story for around the campfire!!!!
3. "Go Topless" May 3rd
 I found this on the Internet and thought we could participate by having a ride in our area and take pictures and post them to this site!!! so let’s go Topless Saturday, May 3rd 2pm-5pm Lets cruise through down, out in the country or wherever we wind up, and then grab a bite to eat and then call it a night!!! BUT remember you MUST come TOPLESS.... your JEEP that is!!!!!! Let me know to count you in!!!!
4. May Jeep Beach in Daytona, May 16-18, This is a BIGGIE.... it is like thunder beach for bikers but better, because it is for JEEPERS.... it is $55 per jeep for one person and an additional fee for extra passengers in your Jeep, see the link for extra info... The Jays are DEFINATELY going and would LOVE to have at least 15 Jeeps go with us!!! We are planning on tent camping. I am trying to get a block of tent and RV sites together for all of us... so if you are certain about going, let me know ASAP how many in your party whether you will need tent or RV site. Too be included in the block reservation I need to know by March 16th. You are still welcome to go if you decide later than this date, but you will be responsible for your accommodations.

This looks like an extremely fun weekend and a great way to kick off the SUMMER!!! This will lead us into our Jeep weekend.....
NEW Info: I have spoken with the Daytona Beach Campground; Roxie the manager is giving us a rate of $5 per person per night for TENT camping this includes water & electrical, and for RVs the rate is $20 for 2 people and $5 each additional person at each site. I will secure the TENT sites, however Roxie would like for the RV campers to call her so that she can put your name on an RV site closest to the tent sites. 386-761-2663 is Roxie’s office number, she is there Tues-Sat mornings.
As for the Jeep Beach event I would like to register early and as a group, so as soon as you decide if you are going let me know so I can include you in the count! If you are going to Daytona let me know pretty quick so I can get our camp sites reserved there as well!!!
5. May Dothan’s 5th annual Jeep Jam... May 24, 2008 10-4 (I have change it from the 3rd weekend to the 4th weekend because of the Jeep Beach event) I know this is Memorial Day weekend, but I think with the high volume of beach traffic, this will be a success.
The schedule of events: 8am to 10 am set-up Jam stuff; 10-12 registration, door prizes given away every 15 minutes- all day, 3pm announce prize winners: Best CJ, Best Wrangler, Most Unique, & new category DIRTIEST!!! 4pm we hit the circle for our 14 mile cruise around the Ross Clark Circle!!! But I am trying to iron out any kinks before they develop and have a better plan so that everyone (besides me) knows what is going on!!!

I have already started working on prizes, vendors, looking for a band or DJ, I have secured the T-shirts, The t-shirt design has been submitted and soon to go to press!!! WoW! We are hearing from Jeep clubs from all over the country that are taking part in "GO TOPLESS" day. It looks like this is going to be a really fun national event. Here, in New Elngand, we can’t wait to have those sunny days arrive so that we can take our tops off. It’s the spring ritual for the JEEP crowd. Hey Everyone in the South East Alabama area listen up!!! We (South East Alabama Jeeps... SEA-J) have been invited to be a part of the 5th annual "Cruise In" on April 12th in Hartford AL. near Dothan AL. We will meet at The Houston County Farm Center in Dothan at 11am and cruise on over to Hartford. We need to be in Hartford by 1/1:30 to be sure we are able to set-up next to each other!!! So shine up your JeeP, pack a cooler and chairs and lets get ready to enjoy the afternoon and spring weather!!! First: March 16th for a ride to Headland, Tommy with the Dothan Fire Dept and Dothan Survival Games has property in Newville and has offered to escort us OFF Road and have a bon fire!!! I will purchase all the food and will ask you to pay $5.00 per person to cover the cost!!!! Bring your cooler with the BEVERAGES of your choice because I will only be getting the food!! Please give me a RSVP so I can have an accurate # of folks to plan for.... please do so by March 10th.
NEW Info: this event is confirmed!!! We will meet at 11am at the NORTHSIDE K-MART parking lot.... cruise the back roads, trails, haul off across the wide open areas in and around Tommy's land!!! We will start the Bon Fire at 5:00!!! Let me know to count you IN!!!!!
Second: April I am planning to network with the Jeep Club out of Panama City... Kathy Gainer has invited us to come down that way and show us some fun and interesting places there!!!! More details to come as they develop!!!

Also, after 5 years of planning, thinking, and creating this Jeep "club" Southeast Alabama Jeeps, I have FINALLY come up with an acronym to go by... I adjusted the name to be "SEA-J" aka "South East Alabama Jeeps"!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am very excited about the events SEA-J is hosting for the spring and summer!!!! I look forward to see you and your Jeep there!!!!

Hey Everyone!!! I hope everyone is well and fine!!! And you are ready to RIDE!!!!! I have sent out a BUNCH of info lately and I thought I would try to organize all the e-mails so you aren’t scratching your head saying: "What the is she talking about... " And to be sure I have all the info on my calendar and in my head straight!!!!!
