well after 2 years it old wj jumped from 2" tp 4.5" the rear shocks are too short, and the rear control arms are ok, but will need adjustables to get the 285's on... the wife's happy i have to chase down the dribe line vibe... and well be gold

size matters ??

does size matter of course it does, or why else would they make so many bigger lifts? this weekend the wife's wj goes from 2" to 4.5" if sizr didn't matter she wouldn't of wanted to go to 4.5" and go from 265's to 285's... so we'll se it took 2 years of 2" so i hope to get 2 years out of her new lift.... the next thing is tire/ rims... so many and they all cost sooo much... errrrrr she's worth it.. so 17" pinters and 285 bfg's km2's... she owes me sooooo bad..... once i resize my pics i'll post the new lift pics... could be some time.. i'm a busy guy..

it really works, and works well

ok the brakes got fixed, remeber bleeders up not down.... i towed it the the jeep show... and the tranny lines were leaking at the trans. the quick fittings o-ring just weren't holding.. got new o-rings at 8am and go them in it tooks some trys but it stopped leaking... then at the end of the day, the water hole,,, stopped me by going too fast.. i thought i had a boat not a xj... oh well.. cleaned the cap, and pulled the plugs, and we were backing running... so it got flogged, and hte stroker sounds great... people keep asking what was under the hood... so disreguard that last poll... and the back hoe keys are safe... lol

it's only been a year

one year ago i started to pull teh motor, and work on it over winter... and as always i have time or money, never at the same time... so after sitting.. i replaced the frozen brake calipers, and the pedal goes to the floor.. i have replaced the master cyclinder, booster, and valve assby. pedal still goes to the floor.... EEERRRRrrrrr i have a jeep show in pittsburg on sat.. a rti trophy to win, and a mud pit to test out the new cam and head work... but no brakes.. what gives... as always in my life so close but not to happen.. :(

so my xj sat for a year we'll i redid a good used motor for it, now the motor is in, and it runs great with the new cam... the front brake calipers are locked up, the new calipers banjo bolt thread are messed up... so i havd to take those back after they were painted...and now the rear 9" drums need work... errrrrrr i need a bigger garage door... i hope to have it going down the street tonight????? i'll rebleed the system.. there is air in there some were....
