12/22/2008 18:42:28 That's awesome. Yeah, my grandpa died before I was born and my dad walked out on us when I was 3. Both were great mechanics, especially my paw paw. My dad used to have trucks and jeeps so besides his drug addiction he would have been a great role model. I have 2 jeep friends here, one of them has a Grand Cherokee, and the other has an EXTREMELY nice CJ7. Neither of the 2 actually work on their jeeps either though. From: wayne1985
12/21/2008 04:25:33 Hah, good way to put it. I guess retarded would be a bad way of putting it. I'm just not confident enough to try it out. I don't really have the time or money to mess anything up. My jeep is my baby, toy, and daily driver. Without it, I would be broke, bored, and baby-less. I probably should have gotten an established jeep before the fixer upper... Oh well, I've gone too far with this one to let it go now. I'm having the axle seals changed out, a new steering box installed, new carburetor installed and some electrical work done. Hopefully after this my problems will be over for a while... From: vtjeepgirl
