I have a 97 TJ and it seems after about 4 or 5 trips down washboard roads my after market stereo mount will break. After all thier mounted with just a few little plastic tabs, and 1 always seems to snap from the vibrations. Leaving the Stereo hanging semi-recessed in the center console. I've asked around and this seems to to have happened to others, also driving these awful Southern Nevada washboard roads. To fix this I simply went to the local hardware store and purchased Sticker type Furniture Pads that fit almost perfectly to the bottom of the stereo unit. They are about a 1/4" thick, I used 2 on the bottom of the stereo & 2 on the top of the console which lays directly under the stereo. I've had this set up for over a year now and have yet to have it break again. Hope this helps anybody with the same problem
