WOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOO Football season is finally here. I know it kicked off on Thursday, but I hate the Colts so it doesn't really count. So... anyone that has modified their jeep will tell you, not all modifications are good. Right?? This doesn't necessarily apply to mechanical modifications like suspension or drive train components It could be a wheel and tire combo that looks out of place or maybe it's just a color combo that makes you say why did I do that. Now I'm not trying to offend anyone, after all, I have bright yellow all over my rig. But today I think I saw THE UGLIEST color sceme ever on a jeep. While at a red light today this is what I saw. A chilli pepper red (light maroon w/ reddish tint) wrangler with a tan soft top. Not so bad huh... in fact I have the same factory color combo. Welllll........ here's where ugh factor comes in.. this guy added WHITE fender flares, and a WHITE trail rack. WTF!! As I choked down the vomit in my mouth I scrambled to get my camera phone out. Unfortunately the Light turned green and I was too late to get a shot. Again, I'm not trying to offend anybody, but should we start a campaign for jeepers who are modification oblivious. It could be like like DARE, or MADD. The slogan could be "Freinds don't let friends make bad modifications" I know if I did something ridiculous, I would want you all to tell me I'm a bozo so I don't have a rig everyone notices for the wrong reasons. Just a thought, Thanks all.

You ever see something and think to yourself... hmmm. that's just not right. Well it happened to me last Sat night. The wife and I got a sitter, went out for some dinner, and then headed to the local hoot spot for a couple drinks to end the night. This is a pretty busy place we were at, and it's right on the water so there's a pretty wide range of people in there. I usually glance across the parking lot on the way in and out, to check for any cool rides. There are usually sone sweet bikes some cool sports cars, trucks jeeps. etc.Well... I get all the way across the lot when I nearly s#$t myself. this is what I bump into.............

Well, it's finally here. My favorite day of the year. OPENING DAY. For me, opening day is the equivilent of seeing your kids smile, or coming home from work and finding the pile of jeep parts you ordered has arrived. It's a much anticipated event that's been 5 month in the making. Being from MA, I think it's a little different than other areas of the country. Boston is a baseball town, and the fans are rabid. You can't mess with us or our team. It's a passion It's a way of life, It's RED SOX NATION. So the countdown begins and the Sox / Yankee hatred will roll on for the next 7 months and hopefully we will find our team still playing at the end of October.
