This morning will be destination unknown for me. I'm drinking coffee for now, but in just a while I'll be loading the Jeep up and headed out to a place I haven't seen yet. This ride can go two ways...either I can discover a very cool place to ride and it will be a place I will want to return or it will turn out to be a place not worth returning (in other words, not enough wilderness, mud or rocks). However, jeeping is never a waste of time!! Where will your destination be this weekend? The Mall you say? No way dude! For me, it will be me and the Foo Fighters headed for a destination unknown in my JEEP! Maybe I'll take my dog...if he's in the mood. Ya'll have a great weekend and drive safe!!

What the crap is a catalyst? For scientist, a catalyst is that which you add to chemicals to bring about a chemical reaction. But from a cultural standpoint, it would be someone who brings about change within a...well...culture. That's what I see myself as. I feel as though I am pretty good at it! Others are too... Check out BlueRibbon Coalition. Those guys are doing an awesome job! We as jeepers need to constantly be looking ahead and bridging the gap between those pushing for a greener world and those of us who respect the earth but do so behind the wheel of a jacked-up Jeep!

One of my gifts...or talents if you will...is raising money. aka "fundraising" Thus, one way I can be a catalyst is to begin by raising support for groups like BRC and others. Another talant I feel I have is being able to effectively cast vision...which helps in fundraising by  the way. In other words...speaking to people in a way that they embrace the vision as well. So, what will I do with that? I'm going to use it! Be a Catalyst! But another question...one for you...is what are you going to do! Become a Catalyst!!! It feels good!

Man!!!!! Got a letter I have to respond to today. It reads, "YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED AND COMMANDED TO LAY ALL OTHER BUSINESS ASIDE AND PERSONALLY APPEAR AT THE COUNTY COURTHOUSE TO SERVE AS A JUROR." Dude...I would so rather be wheeling today! I hope though it is a case hearing about closing land to jeepers. I would be like, no, I'm not sure how I feel about that (which would not be true) and then I would vote for the Jeepers!! They would afterwards say, sir, you didn't tell us you had a jeep and I would say, well, you didn't ask! Anyway, it will probably be some case about someone stealing something at Wal-mart. I might just stand up and shout "Nuke-em all!" they will then kick me out and I can spend the rest of the day exploring the forests that haven't been closed yet! Is there anything better than jeeping with the top down through a national forest or climbing up some mountain road? Dude...I love that feeling. Getting away from all the baggage that we tote through life...getting away from everything and everyone. Remember the movie "Braveheart"? FREEDOMMMMMMMMM!!!!! Loving life and living large! ~ Peace!

How I envy all you jeepers who live where there are rocks and hills! (LadyRed I love your pics!!) Don't get me wrong, us southern boys do like our mud. In fact, let us get stuck and you will see how cool we look when we hold our breath and go under just to hook a cable! But there is something about climbing hills that just "peels my bananna"! I love it. And here in South Georgia, all we have is flatland. So, all you mountain boys and girls, just remember us every now and then....and don't forget to send us a postcard!

Don't you just hated it when you realize that it is a perfect day to be out topless...wind in your face, climbing rocks, or whatever else you would rather be doing in your jeep...and none of your friends are available to go!! Instead, you find yourself staring at Jeep web-sites on your laptop until you have gone crazy!! Wouldn't it be so cool if all of us who were blogging this morning were in one place today (Say the mountains of California!) having a crazy time in our Jeeps! What if? Hmmmm...I don't know about you but I'm gonna throw on a pair of ol' jeans, grab my flip-flops, and get out of this house!! I'll wave at ya if I see ya!
