So although my jeep project started some time ago, today I seen that small bit of light that keeps me going. Well first off I should let you know what I'm doing.

My Jeep is a 1993 Grand Cherokee Limited. its got a slightly built 318 with an auto and full time 4x4. My goal is to have a nicely built offroad ready grand cherokee for under 1500 bucks. Its going to be Olive Drab green with black rims, 4" of lift, homamade bumpers and roof rack, and either boatsides or else rock sliders.

Thus far I have the front clip off and interior stripped so I can bedliner them. I've fixed the rust on the hood and both front fenders ( I also trimmed the fenders just below the bodyline to gain at least 2" of clearance in the front, and shaved the power antenna) I've got the fenders and the hood primed and painted.

I bought four rust free doors (more rustfree than the ones it had) for $80 putting my total cost with the jeep and paint up to around $880

If you have any money saving tips for me let me know I have an entire machine shop at my disposal :) so I plan on fabricating a lot of my own parts right now I'm just trying to get all the rust and bodywork taken care of.

So I have another blog about this and was asked in a comment to repost it with a different title so more will read it.

This really bugged me and I'm not the only one. I want opinions from all you jeepers what you think whether you are from the states or not..... I don't think that it matters what countrys flag it is this applies to all..... its just a respect thing

I think the American youth needs a wake up call as to why they have the freedoms they take for granted. Theres way too many people that gave their lives protecting our way of life for someone to "excerscise their rights" and desecrate our flag. I think that you should have to earn some rights and if they knew what our ancestors went through to earn those rights I don't think this would have even taken place.

It makes me sick.... and if I were there asses would have been kicked the way our lost soldiers would have wanted it.

Ok so back in November my wife and I decided to trade in our Nissan Maxima for a Liberty. We have a Liberty Sport with a 3.7 and an auto.... I wanted a Wrangler but its really not practical for us so....We've had the Libby since Nov '07  3 weeks after we bought it it kicked a check engine light for "lean condition" then it went away. December came and we moved from Virginia back to Wisconsin, a few weeks after being home I had a rocker arm fall off..... don't know how it just did. I pulled the valve cover off and there it was just laying there. I drove it for another month and it gave me a check engine light for an oxygen sensor..... now thats fixed... and its also been sporadically giving me misfire codes.... mainly cylinder 2 sometimes cylinder 4 and sometimes it just says random. I've replaced the plugs, its not limited to one cylinder so I don't want to start replacing coils. I've heard of '05 and '06 Libbys having valve issues from the LOSTKJS forum, but mine is an '04 I'm getting seriously frustrated with this. I've owned AMC's and Jeeps in the past and I've had Many Chrysler products but this is definitely the worst luck I've ever had with a vehicle and it has far less miles than any of my previous ones. its just shy of 80k miles. I've also ran 3 cans of sea foam through it one directly through the brake booster, one in the gas and one in the oil (yes you can do that, read the bottle if you don't believe me) and I still get the light, usually it misses during cold startup in the mornings. I've only ran Mobil 1 full synthetic for oil since I got it. I'm running out  of ideas if anyone has a suggestion let me know. I'm open to try about anything these days to get it running right.
