The DIFF change This weekend I finally got to changing out the Diff fluid. After 74,320 miles it had to be done. I should have done it sooner but I just thought since nothing was broke why fix? Stupid me. Anywho it went good and to my suprise there was no gunk build up in the rear diff. I cleaned it up and gave it a fresh rear end cleaning. The front was simple and took no more than 20 minutes to drain, fill, close up. It should have been quicker but I have the skid. So, for $51 bucks in oil and some parts that I needed its all done. Beats the $300, bend me over, that the StealerShip wanted.

I'm a little late in writing this but I have realized how much smoother the ride is. TUNE-UP
O2 SENSOR God this thing was driving me crazy. This is the second time I replaced Bank 1 Sensor 2. The first time was when the wiring of the O2 sensor rubbed against the drivetrain. This time it was just because of failure. Easy fix though. CLEAN UP

JEEP LIFE: 3/21/2007 The Jeep loves its new pad. 2.5 car garage, out of the elements, and enough room to store all the goodies. We just moved into our first house January 1st, and since that date it has been cold with poor weather. Well recently we hit a nice warm pattern and boy oh boy was it time to do some good hearted Jeep lovin. I rotated the tires, installed the new O2 sensor, changed the spark plugs, topped off windshield wiper fluid, and finally washed her up. "Fresh and so clean, clean" View Entry |
