New Features On MyJeepSpace.com 1.5

Welcome to the new MyJeepSpace. I have listed a few features here that are new and I hope you enjoy. I want everyone to please visit the sponsor that made a lot of this happen. Adam with Jeeperman.com has pulled through as the MyJeepSpace sponsor. You can find his products at over 15 online retailers and I can say from personal experience that his products are the best quality on the market. Please check out his inventory, say hi, thank him, and tell him Brian sent you. :-) WYSIWYG editor (pronounced wiss-e-wag, for "what you see is what you get") This feature enables users to bold, highlight, change font size, colors, etc, etc. The new and improved Live Chat feature enables you click the chat link at the top right hand of the page and talk with other members that are in the chat. Instant messenger. This feature allows you to talk with another member through instant messenger. In order to use this feature you must click on the instant messenger link up top and leave the window open. This is your way of accepting instant messages. If that window is not open this is telling everyone that does have it open that you can not accept instant messages. New quiz section. Just for fun you can create a quiz with up to 10 questions. New poll design. Poll questions are not limited to 65 characters anymore. If you want to type a long question and have long answers....Be my guest. RSS feeds now available for blogs, forum posts, and emails User Storage has been increased to 4MB for pictures, emails, etc. Max pic size has been increased also. You can now upload a pic that is up to 1500kb where as before the max was 600kb. New profile section for you members that own multiple Jeeps. I had this request on the last site and could not get around to building it. Well its here now. Hell, I even made optional fields for members who have up to 5 Jeeps. REX... This is one of my favorites.... If you login to the chat and there is less than 5 members chatting you can always carry on a conversation with REX. He is my newest creation. He can talk back, comprehend, and best of all he learns. While you are sitting there talking about Jeep stuff he is building a wealth of knowledge. Eventually you will be able to carry on a Jeep conversation with a computer. Go ahead; ask him how the weather is. :-) Birthday List on the main page. You can now see who is having a birthday today. It will also show you who is having one in the next week. Look out for mine and you can send me a present. Just Kidding :-) Improved the top friends list. On your account page it will now only show your top friends. Another one of my favorites is the new Theme option. If you don't like my new blue theme then you can choose between the other colors listed on the account center page. Just remember, if you select a different theme it is ONLY HOW YOU VIEW THE PAGE. This theme feature does not change your profile page just the way you view the rest of the website. For all you ladies out there I have created a nice pink just for you. :-) You will also notice the nice message notifier in the top left corner. This will display your new messages no matter where you are on the site. Most important.... The new server. It is a dedicated server with 2GB of ram for the database and 2500GB Bandwidth. HOWEVER, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS SITE IS GOING TO BE SWAMPED WITH MEMBERS RE-CREATING THERE PROFILES...ONCE EVERYTHING CALMS DOWN AGAIN YOU WILL START TO SEE THE SPEED INCREASE. O, what else.... This site is now Hacker Safe approved by hackersafe.com. There are a few other cooler things that I have not mentioned but I will let you discover them for yourself. Thanks for coming back to the site and ENJOY. Brian Brady Site Admin

So as one of the first TJs to be back on the forum, I figured I'd start a thread and see if anyone wanted to post the pics over the break (from the website) from any wheelin' they've done. Personally, I've been crammed and the weather here hasn't given me much to wheel through lately.. so I'd like to see what you guys have been up to. Good to be back,Russ

Since CJs are over 20 years old you tend to see some "original" or "different" modifications made to them. That's probably because the original CJ stuff either broke or rusted off and from what I've seen, CJ owners tend to be "Shade Tree Mechanics". You almost HAVE to be to keep them going! In the interest of generating traffic on the new sight, everyone should post up some of their more "ORIGINAL" or "DIFFERENT" mods...good or bad.I'll start:Full floating: I took an early CJ Dana 44, converted it to a full floating set up using custom spacers, used Dana 30 spindles, Dana 60 axle shafts cut to length and modified, and early CJ rear disc brakes (big brakes).I did it all for about $400 or so (got some deals). It works pretty good. I had to convert the rear locking hubs to internally splined style because I was snapping hub bolts.Chopping a hard top:I took a CJ7 hard top, chopped 10" out of the center, and fiberglassed the two halves together. I got the top super cheap ($35) so I didn't mind experimenting. It still needs weather stripping and the rear hatch will have to be modified again. The doors are CJ7/YJ doors and I modified the bottom to fit my CJ5. It was a lot more work that I thought and probably cost me between $400 and $500 in materials (including the purchase price of the $100 doors and $35 top). It's not as clean looking as I would have liked but it works and I plan on fixing it up a little more.

I am looking for ideas on locations and how to mount a cb antenna (3 foot Firestic ll) to a 2000 WJ. I have seen antennas mounted to left rear tail light, but I never looked at how they were mounted. How and where did you mount your antenna on your WJ? Photos and detailed information greatly appreciated.
