Project60
http://tyres1.com/calculators.html
Hand fabricated, powder coat finish, LED lights, polished aluminum dash and tailgate, 7000lb winch, planned 3" rough country lift, 3" body lift, planned rack and pin power steering, planned guage cluster, planned, planned hidden cd player and GPS system, planned 33" tires mounted to aluminum wheels- (brand and series in ???)...and more to come
All are history and have since been removed!
My side lines are carpentry, dabble in realestate and CJ-fabricating. My hobbies are biking, jogging and of course thrashing my Ford 4x4.
I also get a little paint-balling in with my son/friends.

Friendships are under valued...you need them!

I work and play hard...at times a lawn chair & a beer or a wine will nicely do!

My boys and I are currently building a modified 1960 Willy CJ5...it's a scratch build from the ground up. Currently scheduled to leave the shop in the spring of 2008! Originally this site was to share progress as my project materializes! Although, I have found there is more here...I have received great comments and needed tech info.
My second jeep was a 1973 Wagoneer, a little rough but had the power..360ci, 4in lift, stock rims and off road tires. Had a lot of fun with this one, did not baby it...owned for a few years in the 90s. Had 4-up quadra-trac for those certain buried situations. Although once buried...you could always climb out w/ that option. Kinda miss this one...I will have to find a picture to scan and drop into my pictures.
My first jeep was a 1979 J20 pickup "Golden Eagle" package...remember Miss Daisy from "Dukes of Hazards" and her CJ...similar package. It was my first attempt of lifting a rig...no cool kits available back then...wow this dated me, LOL. I raised it 6" and dropped on some 38" super swampers. Nice looker for its time! Basically saw only "Show and Shine" events.
next is suspension and the lower end.
Project60 is still on hold. After some R&R I plan to hit again.

10/05/2007 01:36:10 i was looking at using the rack and pin power steering but after talking with a few people they say if your going to run big tires its going to brake. I went with a power steering box out of 75 cj5. i installed the steering box was not much room in my 46 willys but i got it to work. I ordered a radaitor for a cj5 v6 55/71 this is were i run into a big pain the radaitor was to tall due to how high the grill is so i had to install the radaitor 4 inches lower then i wanted to and move it all the way over to the passanger side of the frame to clear for my steering shaft my next project is to put the leaf springs on top of my ft end to clear the radiator fun fun and more fun. wanted to give you a update on my project.
