Glad to hear it's going well with the Tribe!  Keep me posted on how things go!! It sounds like those members who went on the trails with us had a really good time. That'll be important in staying there!!

It was definitely a challenge for the JK Unlimiteds to thread thru the trees. Lots of stop-reverse-forward-reverse forward, and, on our trail, the guide (Tim [?] Duenkel) had to break out the chainsaw for one stubborn stump that kept a WJ trapped between a few trees. The SWB TJ's, Yj's, and CJ's kinda breezed thru.

It may be because of my last Jamboree (and the only one I can compare to), in Arkansas (Ouachita '07). It seemed even their "beginner trail" was a real tuffy. Granted, I was wearing street tires the first day, due to miscommunication, but I still had the lift. I was probably the least prepared Jeep that day. (small lift, small tires, no lockers) And they had serious doubts hw far I'd make it. They let me take on any obstacles if I so chose, and I only passed on one. The rest I took, and made. (I got the impression they were a bit shocked that the "short" Jeep did so well!! LOL Especially with so many others breaking.

The only other trails that I remember for the Northwoods Jam required 33's and lockers.  I was kinda sad, cuz I felt I could've done well on them anyway. Were there choices I missed? I guess I was kind of a late starter getting registered, and I may have missed a trail on the sheets that was a bit tougher without requiring lockers and 33's.

I'll keep checking back with you for updates on how next year is shaking out, but I'm still planning on trying to make the Drummond Island trip that I missed this year!!! It's a bit closer to home, after all. (REALLY need one in Ohio, or at least within a 6 hour or less drive of NW Ohio, since we have NOTHING but flat farmland.)

BTW.........I like the Jeep Wish List Items.  (Jeep Chick) That's fantastic! Don't we all?!?!?!

Originally, I was supposed to, but I guess it had filled up fast, so they put me on Spirit Turtle.

I did have a great time. I'm not griping, (or tooting my own horn), here, but the only thing i'd have changed is to get a more challenging trail than the two I was on.

So what's the word from the Tribal Elders? How are they feeling about letting us back?

Yeah I´m loving my TerraFlex ! I have probs with the longarms- they´re too short. But that´s all. Nothing is braking and the flex is great. Only in the comps there sometimes is too much flex so the Jeep teeters against the barricades and that means fault points for me. But it still makes a lot of fun ! Have a nice evening.
