I have a 2001 wrangler with 3.07's right now.  i'm running 32x10.50 tires, I lost fifth gear when I put my 4" lift on and these wheels.  My jeep doesn't have any power it seems.  I kind of knew that this would happen but I'm not sure which gears to buy.

Also if there are any web sites or dealers that offer these gears a little bit cheaper.  I know it's not a cheap process, but I'll take any help I can get.

Thanks for your help

Getting the best value for you buck is always great, but don't skimp out on the quality of gears.  Get the best you can afford.  Do you daily drive it?  Is it primarily on road and just some offroad?  The 4:10's will get you back to where you were pre lift and tires, but if you plan on going larger tires or doing more crawling the time to install a lower gear set is now.  You dont want to have to go through this again if you can help it.

you didnt mention if you have the 2.5 or the 4.0 engine. 410's will be fine for your 32's. if you ever plan to go with larger tires, id go with 456's, if you plan to run 35's or bigger, go with 488's. like jparish40 said, you only want to do this mod once, do some research.

Thanks for the help.  I have another question for everyone,  I'm only running a 4" lift right now but I found and awesome deal on a set of 35" tires and  I am thinking about getting them.  I talked to a few dealers and got different answers. Some told me they would fit and another said they wouldn't.   Can I run 35's with just a 4" lift with a big enough offset if I go back to 15" wheels?  And if so will I be replacing wheel bearings all the time?  I think that I will change out to 4.88 gears, will this work?  thanks

do you have the dana turdy-five (D35) rear axle?  It works for some, but it seems like the majority of the people who build one, break it soon after with bigger tires.

what are all those #'s in the middle of this chart?  Looks about like engine RPMS at 65MPH with a non-overdrive transmission in high gear (1:1).

Check out this sight...
