I broke my axle shaft this weekend. Im poor. lol! Is there any other axle shafts i can just put right in that would be from a different jeep or any other ride?

you could go to the junk yard/pick and pull, and get a used axle out of another cherokee.. that would probably be the cheapest way out..

front axle rear axle? the front is a dana 30 same as the Yjs and the tjs.  rear could be an 8.25 or a 35.  if its the rear make sure you know what yours is and what the one your getting out of is because they used both in the cherokees.  if its a 35 it is a c clip 356 and you can get the shafts out of any wrangler from 91 on up i believe.  just make sure you dont get a non c clip shaft out of a early 90 yj or late 80 yj. buy a few for spares so you can change it on the trail if it breaks. they are cheap and will save you alot of hassle if you dont want to upgrade your axle.
