Does anyone know what engines are swappable in the J series trucks?  Specifically a Ford 400?  I realize that with enough time and money anything is swappable, what I am looking for is how much of a project would I be getting into.  Any help would be appreciated.

I guess basically I just need to research what running gear the J trucks came with.  I have a well built 400 in a 78 Bronco.  What i need is a truck and i just like the body style of the J trucks.  It would make more financial sense to find a 78-79 ford truck.
