So, the salesman calls me up to day and tells me that my factory ordered JK came in but but it has "issues". Evidently the new jeeps are not built strong enough to withstand a high speed impact with an overpass while riding on top of a transporter. He said the windshield, rollbars, and hardtop were damaged beyond repair. They had to order me a new jeep and I get to wait another 3 - 6 weeks for it to come in.

Well, my first thought is that they sold it to somebody else and made up the story because they know that they have a sale already with you.......BUT, hopefully I am wrong and your new Jeep will be in sooner than they think and you'll be wheeling in no time. I still kind of smell a rat though.......

tell them you will take it... at 15% the price of a new JK, and build it
