The Dana
and I carefully scanned our schedule to find a day on which we could
throw the ultimate bash...a day where we both didn't have to work, a
day we could drink the night away, a day where our best buds, coolest
chicks and even some people we didn't know could get together and have
a super bad ass great time. The date we found was in July, Friday the
13th. We got Nate on board and started getting the word out. What we
got was a plethera of people to show up at the house in the middle of
no where. We had assembled a nice array of booze...included where over
a hundred raspberry and orange Jello shots, Cabo Wabo Tequilla, the
largest bottle of Jegermeister available and a case of Redbull for
Jeger shots, a keg of Pennsylvania's finest beer(Yuengling) cases of
Corona, Labatt's, Yuengling, Molsen XXX(it'll git cha drunk) and I
think someone even brought Zima, haha. The coolest ensemble of people
showed up to this gig to eat, drink, burn shit and be merry. Locals,
Airmen, Soldiers and even my cuz from Arizona!
The night started with hitting golf balls and shooting potatoes into
the field, then the lighting of the fire. We had a desk and 16
pallets, a tree, tons of wood and a dresser. The blaze could be seen
from route 12 as I was informed from a party guest. She said it is how
she guided herself to my house. The drinking was heavy, the fun even
heavier...the beer pong games were intense...congrats to Shane and
Johnny Z for winning the Golden Yuengling and being crowned the first
Ernie Palooza Beer Pong Champs. The Keg was emptied quickly but lucky
for us we still had enough beer in bottles to get all of Ft Drum drunk,
and we did! The late night fun included fire walkers, Matt K, Nate
Dawg and the burning Roache. We had a motorcycle burnout, a keg stand
crew and the best wine bottle chuggers this side of Napa
valley. All keys were laid to rest as were their owners who were laid
out along my downstairs floors and under my tables and chairs until
they came to in the morning as Roache ran them over with my 4x4 radio
control truck. To all who could not make this bash I am sorry but
maybe next year you can join in the fun. Thanks to all who made the
night so rad, Dana, Nate, Trish, Jen, Krieger, Dean n Ruth all you
TACPs,everyone who made the long drive and yes even you Nick Starkey! Till next time! pics below
