****Picture Upload Solution****
The people that are having problems uploading pictures are trying to upload a photo that is too large. The file size of the picture is not the problem, its the height and width of the photo. The GD Library on the server can only manage photos somewhere around 1200 pixels wide. Here is the solution...
1. Open the photo in Microsoft Paint. Everyone has it on there computer already. (Click start, all programs, accessories, paint to find the program)
2. Open the image you would like to upload to the site. (file, open, find the picture)
3. When the picture is open, select Image at the top menu bar, then select stretch/skew. In the horizontal and vertical boxes replace the 100% with 50% in each box.
4. This will make the photo half the size and ready for upload.
5. Make sure you click file, SAVE AS, and change the name. You do not want to overwrite the original photo so save it as a different name.
6. Go back to myjeepspace.com and upload the editied photo. This should solve the thumbnail problem and upload the photo just fine. Make sure you are uploading the new named photo and not the original.
Let me know if you have any problems doing this. It will also work with your avatar photo if yours is not showing up.
