Well, after some careful consideration, and taking into account the responses that I got about selling the 1970 and getting the 1975, I have decided not to go with the 75. You all are wise in the way of the Jeep, and the force is strong in all of you........
That, and I had a few min to climb under the Jeep and really check some things out........I will never recover from the Horrific things that I saw. I know the MY Jeep needs some work......but Damn! There were more leaking seals, broken shock mounts ( and shocks ) and Red Neck-Back Yard-Hold my beer and watch this-I saw it in a cartoon once and I am sure that I can do it-fix its than I have seen in one place at one time. We have all done some of those to get out of a trail or make it home again.....but then we fix it for real. That last part never happened with this poor Jeep. I would have bought it just to fix it....but he wouldn't budge on the price, and the price was too much for the condition.
So, I will keep my Jeep (if the ad in the paper doesn't sell it), and I will just have to build it up......Thanks for all your advice and so forth.
This is me....stepping of of the soap box.
Jeep on and Stay safe *llll*
