On a recommendation from a friend who owns a trans shop that I should install a deep trans pan on my jeep I finally did it. After looking around for a while I found out that Mopar has a part number for it and that it comes with everything you need.So I went and talked to my friend at Jeep and gave him the part number and the next day I had the kit. After letting it sit in the garage for a month I finally got around to installing it. I painted my pan so don't worry - it does not come in yellow. Tools you will need for this job:- 1/2 inch socket wrench or 1/2 inch impact gun- 1/2 inch drive 3/4 socket- 3 mm L key- 3/8 inch socket wrench or speed wrench or 3/8 impact gun- 3/8 inch drive 13 mm socket- scraper- hammer- pan to catch old trans fluid- funnel- a floor jack with a piece of wood - 2x4 or 4x4... more
