February 9th, 2007  First Day back on MyJeepSpace!  Not much in the way of snow this year so far, but it's been cold.  -12 degrees this past Monday.  As you can see from the picture, every little bit of snow that we do get, I have the Jeep out in it!

Feb. 19th, 2007: Spoke too soon, concerning the lack of snow.  After I wrote that... We ended up with a little over 16 inches.  No complaints here I might add.

Feb. 24th, 2007:  Recently purchased wheels for my Sahara, on E-Bay.  Ordered 5 Moto Metal 951 black wheels.  Today: I made THE decission as to which tires will be going on these wheels.  I ordered the TrXus Super Swampers 265x75x16 (31.9 inch).  Because my baby takes me to and from work every single day, I needed a tire that would be safe and stable on pavement, yet, a tire that could handle taking me off-road, and perform equally in mud and dirt.  The TrXus seemed like the best choice.

In other news, it would have been nice to actually had the tires installed today! (They are on backorder nationally.) As...We got hammered with an ice storm last evening.  Major fog last week.  Actually it was called, freezing fog!  Mother Nature is giving us a nice sampling of what she's able to dish out this year!

March 13th: Best news is my winch is fixed.  I'm not even going to admit it was a corrosion / connection problem... (Oops, just did.) One of my fellow club members (Muddy Buddys) owns a electric motor repair shop, e-mailed me that he'd like to take a look at the winch.  That's another example of what Jeeping is all about.  Just one big family!  He's a recent Jeep owner himself.  He has a great looking Unlimited.

It's 11:00PM as I write this.  I'm excited as a kid awaiting the arrival of St. Nick!  Tomorrow my tires are supposed to be in.  Funny how a grown man can get so excited about something, isn't it?  But I can't wait to get them mounted and balanced.  Not to mention the best part.... playing in the mud.

March 14th:  Tires didn't show-up, nor was I given an ETA. @#$%&#@ = Dang-it!

March 22nd: Spring is here and soooooo are my tires!  Picked the Jeep up after work and gave them a little test drive!  Stay tuned, more to follow...
