7mpg was starting to get real old.  And trying to get my Jeep where I wanted to wheel was a pain.  Buying a tow rig was out of the question.

I had been driving around town, being gentle on the throttle, and broke another motor mount bolt.  The x-fer case was popping out of 2wd into neutral at stop signs.

Damn near lost the Jeep after some old wires broke free under the dash that the PO had wired unfused to the battery.  I managed to isolate and tape the loose wire before it sparked too much.

Turns out a co-worker was trying to unload an 06 LJ Rubicon.  I bought it, sold the CJ, and haven't looked back. 

 I miss the nostalgia of the '2A, but what I had needed more work than I was willing to put into her.  She's got a new home now, and she's in good hands.
