tweeking the mirror extensions
ok, after adjusting, tweeking and fighting with my mirror extension tabs for the relocation brackets, i finally got it straight. the tabs were cut 7" long, so that gave me plenty of room to fold the passenger side forward like on the cj's. now i can veiw it thru the windshield. the tab on the passenger side presented me with the problem of vibrations, so i cut it down to 3 1/2" and remounted it. this arrangement also saves my nerves from all the parking lot dimwits, who always seem to be able to find my mirrors and bump them out of alignment. kinda messed up, considering that i park in the back, by myself.......oh well, what can you do about some peoples ignorance?
