First, those of you who did not go this weekend; you missed some dang good, muddy, relaxing FUN!!!!! The Geneva State Forest in Samson is BEAUTIFUL!!! We had a BLAST... sorry for you who missed out!!
For the May 3rd "GO TOPLESS" day, I am CANCELLING plans for an actual ride due to family conflicts; Lindsay's softball team is area champs & is playing in Montgomery for the state title & Ashley, our UAB student, has to be moved out of the dorm at 7:30 Friday night; so riding topless is gonna be a no go for me.... but get your close buds together and do your own mini TOPLESS (but leave your shirt on) ride, take photos, forward them to me and I will post them on the SEA-JEEPS myspace page.
Next, due to HIGH gas prices & NO X-tra cash David & I have decided to CANCEL our plans for Daytona (May 16,17,18), BUT we may decide to go back to The Geneva State Forest in Samson, stay at the free primitive camping site next to the Geneva County Lake and would love to have everyone go do that instead. Sure we would have some $$ in gas, but not going so far away, some food cost, but no lodging cost, and then those of you totally needing a place with H2O/ELEC hook-ups you guys can go stay with my new good buddy Lamar Rowland at Just Loafin' RV Park for a small nightly fee! His place is really neat & interesting, but the site in the forest is stunningly beautiful and that is where I will pitch my tent!!!! So let me know what you think!!!! Couples, singles, families, all fun-lovin' people are welcomed!!!!!
May 24, 2008 is the JEEP JAM at HOOTER's everything is coming together nicely and looking to be another great day. Make your plans to be there.... Jeeps start arriving at 10-12 registration, door prizes given away every 15 minutes- all day, 3pm announce prize winners: Best CJ, Best Wrangler, Most Unique, & new category DIRTIEST!!! 4pm we hit the circle for our 14 mile cruise around the Ross Clark Circle!!
Pass this info on to anyone you know with a jeep.... would love to have them join us!!!!
If ever there is a ride or event and your jeep is "sick", "dead", or gone for some reason like you sold it or something.... call me 'cause 9 times out of 10 someone (normally me) is riding alone or the backseat is free and you are more than welcome to come ride along.... MORE the MERRIER!!!!
