The morning was cold and clear at Rausch Creek.We pulled out of the staging area wuth 2 rigs, my 95 YJ and my buddies Ford Bronco, hit some good Black Trails, Yellow Jacket Ridge and ended up at Lake Cristy, after getting across without sinking, we decided to do the hill climbs at the other end (the steep ones)Jeff, goes first and gets about 1/2 way up and stops,can't go any higher,we all though it was because of ice on the trail. Well I get up the other hill ( it was hard because of ice)...and end up pulling his rig the rest of the way up...then we discover the busted rear drive shaft, the rear yoke was all broken up. We got it back to the staging area,with front wheel drive and a little tow straping.....so the day was cut short......that's the way it goes sometimes !!!
