Well, I've been kinda stuck in stock mode for a while now, been toolin around town w/ no top & doors, but the weather has actually been too nice, all sun, no mud to play in!  Finally settled on a new front bumper and ordered it the other day so I can tow the TJ behind the family truckster on vaca next month up to the sand dunes at Silver Lake in MI.  It'll be my first time wheelin on sand, so I'm excited for that!  I'm hoping to have the lift done by then, since it's been sitting in my garage in the boxes for a month!  Not sure if I'll be able to get the new wheels & tires on by then or not.  I'd be interested in opinions about how slippery sand can be.  I'm inclined to think the tires I have now should be OK so long as I air them down.

Did I mention that my trailer is pretty much done too?  I managed to score a utility trailer pretty similar in size & design to the old WWII ones, I "painted" it  w/ Durabak to match the Jeep and I've used it to haul some debris to the dump.  Once I get the full set of 7 new wheels & tires, I'll get pictures of the combo posted!
