ABOUT MY JEEP 1979 CJ5 with not much 1979 left. It has about 3" total suspension and 1" body lift. I'm running 4.88 cogs with 33" tires. Those are turned via a T18/Dana 18 drivetrain with a Saturn O.D. The motor is the venerable 258 that actually DOESN'T LEAK! It has an HO head and EFI from a '91 Cherokee. The rear diff is an off center Dana 44 from a 1965 CJ. It's locked and converted to a full floater (home brew) with rear disc brakes.
MY 2nd JEEP 2004 WJ Grand Cherokee Limited edition with a 4.7L, Quadratrac II tcase and Dana 44 Rear.
Completely stock and love it that way.
JEEP WISH LIST ITEMS I like my set up as it is. I wish it had a better body though.
