I'm a guy that owns nothing in life except my jeep. Life is good for me.
Jeeping history...
My first Jeep was an 89 XJ Wagoneer
Limited Edition that my old man bought me.
Ran her stock until the dreaded DW came
and got rid of her. Didn't know a whole
lot at that time about cars let alone
Jeeps. But then I need a work truck but
wanted a Jeep again so my brother found me
a MJ in FL and I got that for a $100.
Drove it home to MI and had it for 3
years. Wheeled it lifted it about 5"
and wheeled it some more. But them got to
be to small for my family and I to all go
out wheeling, so decided, hard decision,
to get an XJ again. So I did. Bought
it from a local Jeepin' buddy, it was an
DD all it's life. It was a 1993 2wd XJ
Sport manual. The past two owners all had
intentions to convert it to 4wd. Even when
I bought it the guy I got it from had the
non-dissconnect 4wd axle installed up
front already, and had included the 89
AX-15/231 combo as part of the deal when I
bought it. So thus far since I have owned
it, 6 months, I have installed a 6.5"
lift, with RK 3 link Long arms, 4.5"
RE lift springs and 1 1/2" UBE from
T&T, in combo with a Ford 8.8 4.10LSD
out back, had a custom driveshaft made to
fit with a YJ yoke stuffed in the tcase,
and have installed the 4wd tranny with yet
to regear the D30 up front to complete the
4wd conversion.
1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport 2WD (well according to the vin anyways)
7.5" lift rear via 1 1/2 shackles & 1 1/2" UBE and RE 4.5" leaf packs out back on an 8.8 with disks and 4.10LSD and 8.5" lift via 6.5" coils up front with 2" poly spacers running RK's 3 link long arm set up, running 37x12.50x15 MTR's,Also installed AX-15/231 combo to complete the 4wd axle already installed up front.
1994 Jeep Cherokee 2wd
WP Warrior Front bumper with brush guard.
Soon to have a 3in lift running 31's.
A lot of things, more like what don't I wish for.
Working on upgrading to a D44 up front to handle the abuse of the 37" MTR'S.
