I was born and raised in Montana, been wheeling for just about all my life. USAF Desert Storm Veteran ('86-'92)
Im extremelly athletic, work out and play sports, I dont believe in sitting around and letting Father time have his way with us. My family and I moved to Southern Idaho 2 years ago, and about a year ago my wife decided to leave after 14 years of marriage, I guess she wanted something else in life. I have 3 girls ages 12, 11, and 5...amazing kids.
Im a member of several offroad groups, including Southern Idaho Offroad Association, Rocky Mt chapter of Wolfpack based in Spokane WA and Moab UT, Bitterroot Valley Motor Sports Assoc., BRC, etc.
It's an '84 CJ7 with all the bling. Built up AMC 401, Edelbrock intake, Quadrajet, high compression pistons, Comp cam, TFI ignition, dual glasspacks, custom hand throttle, de-smogged ~~~T18a/D300 twinsticked, Superior axles, locked f&r, Swampers, Warn 8274, Onboard air, Scorpion seats, 5-pt harnesses, massaged suspension, cut fenders, and a really cool rattlecan paintjob.
Used to be a '93 YJ....5" lift, Detroits f&r, Super 35 out back...blah blah blah
1965 CJ5....bone stock, 10k original miles. It was actully my first Jeep, but it's been sold.
D60's in the works.
Stretch the rear axle back about 4 inches
Propane conversion is out for now

11/06/2008 21:12:17 Yeah. Theres alot of extra stuff to running propane but i havent done any of it, im running stock valves and pistons (9-1 Compression Ratio) even stock carb, havent had a problem yet with any of it. The whole propane kit came off a junked forklift out back my last job place. i mostly just tinkered with it till it worked. Sounds like you know a bit more then i do though but im always happy to try and anwser any questions you might have? From: Pockets12
11/06/2008 16:22:06 Hey Thanks! yeah the propane was one of the more tricky items to install, but the cool thing is i can drive allover town on a 5LB Cylinder, Even those little green BBQ tanks are fun to run dry. From: Pockets12

11/02/2008 00:44:10 How do you like that 401? Does it work well at crawl speeds? I have a 360 I'd like to put in our '54/'74 3B project.
