My name is Jason . Ive been into offroading since I was 13 when I bought my first 4x4 truck. I got into jeeps in 04 and have rotated several though since but keeping my original jeep project a 62 willys CJ5.Im one of the founders of Southern Virginia Jeepers a Small informal club . I manage the site for it Southern VA Jeepers .

Old School :Its a 62 CJ-5 Willys powered by the original F-134 Hurricane Engine with a T-90 and a Dana18 case. The rear is a tapered dana 44 with 5:38 gearing is locked and the front is a closed knuckle 27. Ive lifted it a total of 3.25" with a 2.5 BDS kit and .75 inch lift M.O.R.E. greasable shackles.Its all setting on 33 x 13.5 Swamper LTBs .I also installed a later model 15 gal rear tank to replace to under seat 10 gal tank.In the winter of 04/05 I did a frame up rebuild thats still in progress lol .Ive also installed 11" drum brakes on the front and fix alot of the minor breakage points. I have a T-98 on the shop floor that I need to install that will give me a crawl of 84:1 . I also have about every thing I need to convert the ross steering to manual saginaw high steer .Hopefully Those upgrades will be finished before the summer gets into gear good.

Front locker , 6000 pound short drum winch , Perkins 192 diesel engine to replace the hurricane. On deck: Dana 30 with disc brakes , Locker and 5:38s T98 Rebuilt , waiting on dana 18 kit .
