JEEP!!!!......Gecko of the automotive world!!
www.greatlakes4x4.com, www.northwestohiocrawlers.com, (my club affiliation),
www.wranglerforum.com,
All of 'em so far. The 2" BB lift is great for the money and easy to put in without needing to do a hundred other mods. Although a better steering stabilizer would be nice now. (update...I GOT that new stabilizer!!) Also, now loving my Rubicon rims, they look right at home!!
None yet on my personal Jeep. But anything that takes away the functionality that these vehicles are famous for.....I would consider a BAD accessory!!
Wheeling, racing (just about any),flying/aircraft,photography,shooting, wrenching on anything mechanical, as long as it makes it go faster, climb better, last longer. (Don't ask me to install twin blade wipers, chrome spinners {especially on hubcaps}, or tacky graphics!) If it's not functional......forget it!!

I'm just a Jeeper looking for a good trail. None here in the flatlands of NW Ohio.
I'm 39, tall 6'4", slender, but athletic (make sense???) In contrast, my wife of 10 years is 5'2". Love the outdoors, but don't get out much. Work takes my time.....I'm either in the factory,(Chrysler), or in the shop wrenching on everybody elses stuff but my own.
It's a 2005 Wrangler Willy's Edition. It's a 4.0 with the 6-spd. NO p/w, p/l, remote start, etc. (although I couldn't go without my a/c)
Been wanting a Jeep for a while, but too impractical for hauling a fam. But now they're older and moving out, getting their own rides. TIME TO BUY!!
General Willy's was a leftover '05 when I found him. (everyone elses ride is a her....mine is a HIM....a tough veteran GENERAL)
Someone had tried to buy him, but the deal fell through, (but not before they put 2,000 miles on him!!) So I got him CHEAP, like a demo price, but also lumped all my discounts on top. I wondered if I'd regret buying it "too soon", but now I realize, I should've bought it sooner. It has become a great workhorse around the home. I don't have a quad, or a tractor, just my LAWN tractor, and if that can't handle the chore, the Jeep takes over, (and it has MANY MANY times now).
Not a jeep, but my 2nd ride is a 1993 Dodge Daytona IROC R/T. A very limited number of the R/T's were made. (about 212 for domestic and export). It's quicker than any other Daytona produced. 14 sec quarter mile times, stock. A VERY fun ride and getting quicker now. (new turbo/intercooler/exhaust/computer etc. Should be over 400 hp when I'm done. (224hp stock)
Any one of various "projects", at any given time. I've got a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Wagon that i wanna turn into a street/strip terror. A 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus that was my first car and needs a total restoration (resto-mod). Also, a 1987 Dodge Ramcharger 2wd that I thought about converting to 4wd, but now it'll be a "starter" drag race project for my wife. It's already lowered, with a good rear axle ratio. All it needs is a good engine and a BATH!!
4 to 6 in LONG arm lift. Teraflex or Rubicon Express likely. Dana 60 rear, Dana 44 or 60 front, with lockers and 4.56's. At least 33's of some type, (Cooper STT's or better). On-board air. 4:1 T-case.

10/14/2008 10:41:36 Mostly .45s, that's what my wife carries as well I do some skeet shooting, but mostly handguns. I like to reload and play with ballistics, trying to find the "perfect" charge. Mopars are sweet! Any old school muscle gets my attention. I want an old Mach 1.... maybe some day......

10/14/2008 00:43:44 I had a 2004 Cobra Convertible. My wife had a Roush GT Convertible. We got rid of them and got "family" rides before the boss was born. LOL Still got a Jeep though and the Boss loves it. I love to hear, "I go wide inda Jeep!"

On Saturday we had our Trail Guide Party. Overall the Tribe was OK with everything. We got a go thru all the surveys that everyone filled out, and yes the Names were all taken out. Talked about some of the problem areas we had and changes we will be making for the 2009 Jamboree.
July 23rd-25th 2009 Hope you'll make the trip again.
